Our role is to help you present a complete, professional, and well-organised application. The final decision always rests with the property manager or landlord.

What is included in an "application"?

One application covers the preparation or review of documents for one specific rental property. This includes:

  • • Reviewing or updating your core documents for that property
  • • Tailoring your cover letter to address the property's specific requirements
  • • Quality check to ensure everything is complete and formatted correctly
  • • Platform readiness (making sure documents are ready to submit on 1Form, 2Apply, Snug/Ignite, etc.)
  • • Optional authorised submission if you've purchased that add-on

Each property you apply for counts as one application, even if many of your documents stay the same.

Can you submit applications for me on 1Form / 2Apply / Snug/Ignite?

Yes—but only with your written authorisation. This service is called Authorised Submission Support and costs $79 per submission (or is included for up to 2 submissions if you've purchased Priority Application Support).

Here's how it works:

  • • You grant us written permission (email is fine)
  • • You provide your platform login credentials securely
  • • We complete the application forms using the information and documents you've supplied
  • • You review and approve everything before we submit
  • • We handle the administrative task of submission so you don't have to

Important:

  • • You remain fully responsible for all information submitted
  • • This is an administrative service only—we don't contact agents or landlords
  • • We delete your credentials securely within 30 days of completing the service
Do you contact property managers or landlords?

No. Clear Apply does not act as your agent or representative. We do not:

  • • Contact property managers, landlords, or real estate agents on your behalf
  • • Follow up on your application status
  • • Negotiate terms or ask questions about properties
  • • Advocate for you in any communication

Our role is strictly document preparation and administrative support. All communication with property managers and landlords is your responsibility.

How fast is turnaround time?

Standard turnaround:

Business days = Monday to Friday (excluding Victorian public holidays).

  • • Cannot be paused or banked indefinitely
  • • Non-refundable once purchased
  • • If you don't use them within 90 days, they expire

Active Application Support Window:

  • • Once activated, the 14-day window cannot be paused
  • • Runs for 14 consecutive days from activation
  • • You control when to activate it (it doesn't start automatically when you purchase)
  • • Cannot be extended or refunded once activated

Rental markets change, and so do document requirements and your personal circumstances. We need reasonable timeframes to ensure the work we do is current and relevant.

How do you handle my personal information?

We take privacy seriously.

Security:

  • • All documents and personal information are stored using encrypted, secure systems
  • • Access is restricted to Clear Apply staff working on your application
  • • We never share your information with third parties except where required to deliver services (e.g., authorised platform submissions)

Retention:

  • • We keep your information for 30 days after service completion to allow for follow-up requests
  • • After 30 days, all files are securely deleted unless you've requested longer retention
  • • You can request earlier deletion at any time by emailing us

Your rights:

  • • You can access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information at any time
